The brief
A collection where Persian heritage meets the elegance of Houston's Southern swans, presented in an intimate salon. Amir Taghi wanted the presentation to feel like a party, the kind his parents used to throw, or one of Halston's soirées at home in New York. The sound had to complete that mood.
Our role
The soundtrack and sonic atmosphere of the presentation, from concept to final mix.
The approach
We built the atmosphere as if someone were changing records through the evening: the needle dropping, the crackle of vinyl, fragments of conversation, songs flowing into one another. Joan Baez and Persian music sat side by side.
The sound followed the textures of the collection, from hand-set stone buttons to beaded lace and botanical prints. Mix and master by Dan Lemon.
